Every day, the monks light candles before our statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
These lit candles, physically represent our prayers and intentions that we offer up to the Lord as well as remembering those who have asked us to pray for them.
If you would like to light a candle at the Monastery, or if you know a person or situation that needs prayer, the monks can light a candle for you here.
The candle’s flame is a physical sign of constant prayer before God and an acknowledgment of the Light of Christ who reigns in all situations.
We have 12 hour votives and 3 day votive candles that can be lit in front of the Sacred Heart or the Virgin Mary.
Please let us know the type of candle and where you would like it lit and the intention on the form. Suggested tax-deductible donations are $3.00 for a 12 hour votive and $5 for a 3 day votive.
